The meeting convened at 7:30 p.m. with D. Hunten in the chair. Present were S. Bolton, I. de Pater, G. Orton, R. Prange, C. Russell, J. Spencer, N. Thomas, and R. West.
Spencer announced that the Satellites WG was thinking of holding a symposium in Flagstaff just before next year's Tucson DPS meeting. Some discussion ensued about other WG's joining in, but the final consensus was not to do this.
The torus WG will probably meet in the Spring of 1997, in conjunction with the Outer Planets Magnetospheres meeting. Aurora is still thinking about a meeting.
Thomas reported that the torus WG had a successful symposium in Las Cruces, April 27 - 28.
There was a discussion of possible elections of new chairs. Thomas stated that the torus WG would be holding an election in about a year.
The meeting adjourned for dinner at 8:30 p.m.
